PatchManagement.org, the industry's first forum dedicated to the patch management industry, yesterday announced that it has developed a new mailing list to address issues network administrators are facing with the release of Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). The latest mailing list was added to the site due to the recently announced release of Microsoft WSUS at Microsoft Tech·Ed in Orlando, Florida.

The WSUS mailing list is dedicated to discussing the how-to's and best practices for managing WSUS in a corporate environment. Moderators and contributors will discuss topics including setup and installation of WSUS, recommended deployment configurations and troubleshooting tips.

The WSUS mailing list at PatchManagement.org is moderated by five independent security industry professionals:

Tina Bird - Security Architect for InfoExpress
Ryan Russell - Published Author and QA Manager for BigFix
Jason Chan - Security Consultant for Symantec
Eric Schultze - Chief Security Architect for Shavlik and former member of the Microsoft Trustworthy Computing Team
