Computer Associates announced at Tech·Ed 2005 that it will support Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 across its diverse application development solutions portfolio. By taking advantage of CA's proven development solutions, companies that plan to adopt Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 will be able to readily address their constantly changing business requirements while lowering the overall life cycle cost of application delivery. CA offers a number of products with Microsoft integration and support for Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005. "In addition to providing a powerful foundation for building business solutions, Visual Studio 2005, the .NET Framework 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 create a development ecosystem that facilitates use of multiple vendors' solutions to optimize the overall effectiveness and efficiency of an IT organization's development and life cycle management processes," said Don LeClair, senior vice president of development for CA.
