Norwegian Air Shuttle offrira un accès haute vitesse à large bande à ses passagers et aux membres de son équipage

- Le transporteur aérien commencera à équiper sa flotte de la technologie Wi-Fi en vol de Row 44 plus tard cette année

FORNEBU, Norvège, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, le cinquième transporteur à bas prix en importance en Europe, a annoncé aujourd'hui qu'il équiperait l'ensemble de sa flotte d'un accès haute vitesse à large bande en vol. Le transporteur aérien utilisa la solution à large bande satellite de Row 44.

Norwegian, gagnant du prix de leadership du marché 2009 du magazine Air Transport World, sera le premier transporteur européen à équiper sa flotte d'un accès haute vitesse à large bande en vol. Norwegian sera en mesure d'offrir à ses passagers des services à large bande ininterrompus (navigation en ligne, programmation télévisuelle internationale en direct, films, musique, téléphones portables, messagerie texte et commerce électronique), et ce, sur l'ensemble de ses vols à destination de 84 villes partout en Europe. En plus de sa flotte actuelle, Norwegian a placé des commandes pour près de 50 nouveaux avions qui seront tous équipés du service à large bande de Row 44.
