David Kernell Is Looking At Five Years In Jail and a $250,000 If Convicted

David Kernell, the kid who allegedly hacked Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Plain’s Yahoo e-mail, distributed screenshots to the Internet and gave others access to the account, has been indicted and arraigned in federal court in Tennessee where his daddy is a Democratic state legislator.

The 20-year-old college student, who pled not guilty, is looking at five years in jail and a $250,000 if convicted.

According to the AP the court told him to use a computer only to check his e-mail and do homework.

Apparently the FBI is looking for another culprit too.

Kernell’s trial is set for December 16.
