Microsoft in the Line of Fire: Ballmer
Analysts have been expecting Microsoft’s calendar third-quarter revenues to rise 8% to close to $15 billion

As the financial crisis deepened, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who last week said hardware and software sales would be hurt without following that statement to its logical conclusion, raised the decibel level and told Reuters that Microsoft would get hurt – some parts more than others.
“We have a lot of business with the corporate sector as well as with the consumer sector and whatever happens economically will certainly affect itself on Microsoft,” he was quoted as saying. “I think one has to anticipate that no company is immune to these issues.”
Analysts have been expecting Microsoft’s calendar third-quarter revenues to rise 8% to close to $15 billion.
