Skava Appoints Former Home Depot and Belk Mcommerce Maven to Spearhead Solutions Delivery and Modern Retail Initiatives

A Respected Omni-Channel Retail Veteran, Manu Gupta is Appointed as Vice President of Solutions Delivery to Strengthen Solutions Delivery and Operations

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/10/15 -- Skava, the leading provider of mobile, tablet and, in-store retail technologies, today announced Manu Gupta, a seasoned digital technology executive, as Vice President of Solutions Delivery. In this role, Gupta will be responsible for managing client solutions delivery and operations for Skava's customer base. Gupta's extensive experience touches a diverse array of key industry verticals such as Business-to-Business and Business-to-Client Retail, Finance, and Healthcare.

Gupta's expertise is evidenced in his contributions to retail industry giants such as Home Depot and Belk. Most recently, Gupta directed a key sector of Belk's digital commerce department where he led their omni-channel IT strategy and the brands ecommerce collateral. He also managed the online and mobile teams, site operations, a selection of Belk's digital commerce platform, and a team of primary Systems Integrator for the platform implementation.

Prior to Belk, Gupta achieved great success with Home Depot, where he led major omni-channel initiatives and the successful roll out of their Buy Online, Pickup In-Store. For his accomplishments, Home Depot CEO Frank Blake awarded the Orange Blooded Award to Gupta.

Gupta also brings decades of experience of building and directing complex technology implementations as Consultant with major entities such as Target, Merrill Lynch, Alticor, AGL resources, and the Federal Government. Gupta's implementation of complex technological innovation positions him to facilitate Skava's continued progression as a major player in the ecommerce Industry.

Gupta holds an MBA from CUNY, Zicklin School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Technology from Nagpur University in India.
