Announcing the latest in DocuSign for Office 365 Apps

We are excited to announce the latest updates for the DocuSign for Microsoft Office 365 applications that were just released this week. As a reminder, we have 3 applications for Office 365: DocuSign for Outlook, DocuSign for Microsoft Word, and DocuSign for SharePoint Online. We designed the apps to make it simple and intuitive to sign or get signatures from the productivity apps you use the most. This helps reduce paper waste and allows you to manage your business more efficiently — all while meeting the highest levels of security and availability. The applications are available for free with a DocuSign subscription. You can find them on the Office Store by searching for “DocuSign”.

Localization

In the latest version of the applications, we have localized in 5 languages in addition to English: French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch, and Japanese. Now even more users from around the world can go to the Office.com Store in their native language and discover the power of DocuSign.

DocuSign for Outlook v3.0

In DocuSign for Outlook v3.0, we have added the ability to initiate a signing process from the new mail/reply window — just like you would start a new email. All you have to do is upload the desired documents, and DocuSign for Outlook pre-populates signers from your email message. Then, use DocuSign to drag and drop tags onto the document to gather signatures and other information from your recipients, and send it off. Never leave Outlook to get signatures on a document again!

Responsive UI optimized for smaller form factors and mobile devices

We also heard your request to optimize the apps for mobile devices - so we did! In the latest versions of our Word and Outlook applications, we have re-vamped the UI to be responsive and look great on Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

So, remember, to access these great features and more, get DocuSign for Microsoft Office 365 apps for free from the Office.com Store. If you don't have a DocuSign account, you can sign up for a free trial from within the apps using your Office 365 credentials. If you have an account already, you can connect it to Office 365 by entering your credentials.

HUGE shout-out to the small talented team of engineers whose hard work made this product what it is today. Please let us know if you have any feedback or suggestions - we'd love to hear them. Feel free to send a note to [email protected]

Thank you for your support as we build and enhance the global standard for digital transaction management.

Poor data quality and analytics drive down business value. In fact, Gartner estimated that the average financial impact of poor data quality on organizations is $9.7 million per year. But bad data is much more than a cost center. By eroding trust in information, analytics and the business decisions based on these, it is a serious impediment to digital transformation.

Cell networks have the advantage of long-range communications, reaching an estimated 90% of the world. But cell networks such as 2G, 3G and LTE consume lots of power and were designed for connecting people. They are not optimized for low- or battery-powered devices or for IoT applications with infrequently transmitted data. Cell IoT modules that support narrow-band IoT and 4G cell networks will enable cell connectivity, device management, and app enablement for low-power wide-area network IoT. B...
