London, UK (04 June, 2014) - ABBYY UK Ltd., a leading provider of document recognition, data capture, and linguistic technologies and services, today announced Document Capture Company (DCC), based in Wembley, has joined the ABBYY European Solution Partner Programme. The certification is granted to organisations that attend and pass a full ABBYY FlexiCapture training course. ABBYY FlexiCapture enables DCC to offer its clients a seamless and automated business process through their solutions, such as Digital Mailroom or Invoice Processing.

"Data Capture, Process Automation and Analytics form the core of our business. Consequently, it is important for us to know and be aware of the leading data and document capture providers," said Parimal Patel - Managing Director. "DCC chose ABBYY after undertaking an evaluation process to find a robust solution to manage many forms of unstructured documents. ABBYY ticked all the boxes in terms of product features, functionality and vendor expertise. A dedicated support & training structure further demonstrated ABBYY's commitment to their channel partners."

DCC now gains full access to ABBYY's Data and Document Capture solutions which provide a wide range of features for the extraction of business-critical information from customer documents in various industry sectors such as legal, logistics, financial services, healthcare, government, outsourcing and many others. With capture solutions, business-critical processes can be fully automated, from the time documents enter an organisation to routing and booking in end-of-line business applications like ERP, SharePoint and various document management applications. Documents, such as invoices, orders or contracts, are scanned when received as post or recognised electronically in the case of emails or PDFs. Essential data is then captured, automatically entered into the backend application and the original is digitally archived for fast and easy retrieval. This level of automation removes several of the most time-consuming manual tasks involved in document processing.

"Our channel of certified partners help us deliver powerful business solutions and applications to customers. DCC has demonstrated a proven track record in providing expert and high quality customer service and adding value through their end user solutions," states Ed MacArthur, Head of UK & Ireland Sales for ABBYY UK Ltd. "Customers need to rely on trusted advisers to help guide them through the available business technology options. DCC is such an adviser and we are therefore pleased to have them as a member of our European Solution Partner Programme."
