AFS Technologies Announces the Appointment of Alan El-Kadhi to General Manager Asia Pacific

Effective immediately, Mr. El-Kadhi will also assume the role of Product Manager of AFS Mobile Solutions and be based in the Company’s Sydney, Australia office.

During an extensive 25-year career in the software industry, Mr. El-Kadhi has exceled in software product management and new technology commercialization. His experience with taking new software products to market began with the launch and growth of his own software development company in the United Kingdom, which was acquired by a leading United States-based company. Mr. El-Kadhi has successfully transformed a number of companies in both the United States and Australia in the fields of Business Intelligence, systems management tools and Video Analytics.

Mr. El-Kadhi served as General Manager of Commercialization for the University of New South Wales, one of Australia’s largest universities, where he generated millions of dollars in licensing and venture capital to fund new technology start-up companies. He also restructured and managed sales for a start-up specializing in Video Analytics and a global Business Intelligence software company. As a two-year volunteer in Indonesia, Mr. El-Kadhi applied his business experience to convert a small wildlife organization into a well-funded and international award-winning conservation non-governmental organization (NGO).
