NEW YORK, March 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Reservoir Labs today announced the latest release of R-Check® SCA, now available for both Windows® and Linux®, addressing the growing demand by software defined radio (SDR) developers for SCA compliance testing solutions. As part of today's announcement, Reservoir also confirmed that Spectrum Signal Processing by Vecima, an industry-leading developer of high-performance, software-reconfigurable signal processing platforms, will offer R-Check SCA to their customers worldwide.
"Spectrum is excited to provide our customers with this valuable SCA validation tool that can help them correct code during their development cycle," said Mark Briggs, General Manager at Spectrum. "With R-Check SCA in our product mix, Spectrum extends its comprehensive offering of SDR solutions."
Tailored for the global SDR development community and in use by the JTNC Test & Evaluation Laboratory (JTEL), R-Check SCA provides fast, repeatable SCA compliance testing in a package that speaks the language and understands the structure of SCA 2.2 and 2.2.2 projects. R-Check SCA utilizes the power of advanced static analysis methods to enable simultaneous evaluation of all possible code execution paths and to ensure consistency across an SCA project. Compatible with any choice of development environment, R-Check SCA benefits SDR developers by allowing deep testing to begin while code is still being written. This ensures that compliance issues anywhere in a project are discovered at the earliest possible point in the development process.
With this latest release, Reservoir delivers a powerful set of enhancements to R-Check SCA users including a new, intuitive GUI and increased test coverage for requirements spanning SCA XML, CORBA® IDL, and C/C++ source code. In total, more than a dozen additional SCA requirements can now be tested. Also included in this latest release is an expanded analysis and consolidating reporting of hard-to-find memory leaks, and additional coverage and metrics reports that help ensure 100% analysis coverage of all components of an SCA project.
R-Check SCA is available for Windows and Linux from Reservoir Labs and their global reseller partners. For more information please visit www.reservoir.com/rchecksca.
