London, March 14th 2013 - In an IT battle of David and Goliath, managed cloud infrastructure company Easynet overcame competition from technology giants Microsoft and Amazon Web Services as they were crowned the 2013 European Service Provider of the Year at last night's IT Europa European IT & software Excellence Awards.

The award recognises Easynet's commitment and dedication to providing its customers with outstanding global services which address specific business issues, such as cloud based solutions which improve data security, reduce costs and provide a business with flexibility.

Adrian Thirkill, Easynet's UK MD said, "Winning this award against Microsoft and Amazon Web services is proof that success isn't about having big budgets and thousands of staff.
