Cadre Computer Resources Co., a leading provider of information security solutions, announced today that it has added Arbor Networks, a global provider of network security and management solutions for enterprise and service provider networks, to its select portfolio of technology partners.
Founded in 2000, Arbor Networks has focused exclusively on researching, detecting and mitigating network-based threats. The company is best known for its widespread footprint in service provider networks. Arbor technology is deployed in of the vast majority of service provider networks globally, including 90% of tier one operators. Arbor technology is also broadly deployed among the largest hosting and cloud providers.
Pervasive threats have increased in scope and prevalence in recent years. In order to continue to combat network challenges, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack prevention solutions have also had to increase in sophistication. “Securing our customer’s networks is Cadre’s number one priority bar none,” says Sandra Laney, Cadre CEO & Chairman. “Arbor helps us achieve this goal with their deep network intelligence and proven DDoS threat protection. We are proud to welcome the industry leader in DDoS mitigation to our exclusive partner portfolio.”
Arbor Networks® Enterprise Solution
The Pravail platform includes two devices, one delivers deep network intelligence and the other the world’s leading distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack mitigation technology. Pravail helps businesses see all activities occurring in, on and around the network, including Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD) that are accessing corporate resources, botnet communication and application misuse. Understanding must be combined with action, and Pravail includes a solution that delivers real-time threat mitigation that ensures network and service availability. This device can be rapidly deployed with little configuration, even during an attack.
“In Cadre, Arbor has a partner that shares our commitment to securing networks with the most advanced, innovative technology on the market today. Arbor’s solutions are world-class, market tested and deployed by the world’s leading brands,” said Bill Lipsin, Vice President, Partners and Alliances at Arbor Networks. “As an Arbor Advantage Partner, Cadre has a deep understanding of our technology, our commitment to excellence and our focus on solving customer’s most pressing security challenges.”
“Arbor’s network security platforms for enterprise accounts and government, coupled with Cadre’s advanced engineering methodology, is a powerful force multiplier in network management,” added Sandra Laney. “I strongly believe this partnership will serve to benefit our customers with critical interest in DDoS mitigation and internal network visibility.”
