SplendidCRM Software, Inc., a pioneering provider of Microsoft-centric Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, has released version 7.0 with a focus on HTML5 along with Personal Editions for the most popular tablets today, including the Microsoft Surface RT, the Google Android and the Apple iPad.
In addition to the enhanced HTML5 features shared across all editions, the version 7.0 Community, Professional and Enterprise editions include long requested features such as popup and email reminders, call campaigns and Excel XLSX export. Also, this release has been fully tested and fully supports the various editions of Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, SQL Server 2012 and Visual Studio 2012.
The Community Edition is a featured app on the Windows Web App Gallery for February 2013. The Community Edition can be installed from the App Gallery using Microsoft’s Web Platform Installer at http://www.microsoft.com/web/gallery/splendidcrm.aspx or it can be downloaded from the SplendidCRM web site at http://www.splendidcrm.com/OpenSource/DownloadCommunityEdition.aspx.
The SplendidCRM Personal Editions leverage much of the same technology in the HTML5 Offline Client of the Community Edition. The Personal Edition has a near identical look-and-feel as the Community Edition with support for Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities. The key to the success of the Personal Edition is the use of the PhoneGap cross-platform framework and the SQLite database. In addition to being a single-user CRM, the Personal Edition can be the foundation of cross-platform data-driven applications for Enterprises that need to gather data at conferences or other social events.
The Personal Edition for Microsoft Surface is available on the Windows Store. The Personal Edition for Android is available on Google Play. The Personal Edition for iPad will be available on the Apple Store once it has been approved.
