Newcastle upon Tyne, England - January 2013 - Business Consulting and Information Technology experts, Forfusion is proud to announce more job creation and recent accolades such as Microsoft Silver Midmarket Solution Provider and Cisco Premier partner status. Specialists in designing and deploying secure unified communication solutions, they tell us more about their business journey and the work they've been doing to end last year on a high.
Forfusion know their business inside out and have built a reputation with their growing client base as a small team of specialists with a 'can-do' attitude. The team is more than au fait with complex networking solutions and the strategic workings of 'application driven intelligence' but CEO Steven Forrest is first to admit they've been so busy, some organisations won't even be aware of the work they've been doing.
"Last year was literally been flat out" says Forrest, who along with co founders David Griffin and Ian Musgrave is responsible for business initiatives and direction. "We attended the Thinking Digital conference and came away with a bag full of inspiration and ideas we could use to promote Forfusion's recent works and services portfolio, but we haven't really had the opportunity to sit down and take a breath."
Forfusion is based in the heart of North Tyneside with a satellite office and data centre in London, whilst its team of engineers deliver services both in the UK and across the world.
"Last year we've had Forfusion Engineers working with customers in France, Saudi and even as far afield as Australia. It can make a for a long day when you're managing projects on the other side of the planet, especially considering the time difference" remarks Griffin "but the satisfaction and buzz we get from working with our clients is one of the reasons we launched this business in the first place".
The founders of Forfusion are no strangers to the big leagues having once worked for some of the biggest network integrators in the world before deciding to take a leap of faith, launching Forfusion in January 2007. The founding team now utilise their wealth of knowledge, acquired skills and many contacts to deliver directly into the end user customer base.
"I think all 3 of us could have quite easily carried on with our respective careers and enjoyed what we were doing. The more we talked about setting up our own operation, the clearer it became we had the skills and determination to build a successful business" says co-founder, Ian Musgrave.
Musgrave has recently been pivotal in architecting the recently received Cisco Premier certification "certifications in our business mean a lot as it shows you're operating on a different level. Alongside Cisco Certification, we're quite likely the only business in our space in the North East to achieve Cisco Preferred Supplier status. The team has been working tirelessly to also be awarded the Microsoft Silver partner certificate. We are very proud of these achievements in respect of the self-imposed timescales alongside the continued first rate delivery of customer projects."
Forfusion is also contributing to job creation in the North East with the appointment of Cathy Tomlinson, Senior Account Executive. "Cathy's got a wealth of experience and is a safe pair of hands" says Forrest. "Her areas of focus will be business development and managing workflow, whilst working very closely with the directors. She will also be heading up some new marketing and promotional strategies"
"We moved into bigger offices in 2012 to accommodate the growing team which is now up to 11. 2012 was a great year in many ways but now it's about looking forward. Creating jobs is obviously something to be proud of but from an industry perspective we're also immensely proud of the recent Microsoft and Cisco certifications we were awarded".
Ends.
