NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 01/24/13 -- Nolio (www.noliosoft.com) will lead talks on continuous application delivery at the Microsoft ALM Summit at the end of the month. The talks will be part of the summit's 'DevOps Track,' which will arm developers, deployment engineers and operations professionals with practical information to drive meaningful change within the workplace.
This will be Nolio's first appearance at a Microsoft event since it became a Visual Studio Industry Partner in November 2012. Eran Sher will co-present the session 'Implementing Successful Continuous Deployment Practices for DevOps' with Muhammad Uppal, Software Specialist at the leading international healthcare group BUPA. Mr. Sher and Mr. Uppal will discuss motivating factors for automation, how to implement continuous application deployments to the environments and impart personal accounts of their respective successes.
"Continuous deployment practices are an integral component of a successful DevOps operation. We will reveal how automation enables enterprises to achieve continuous application deployment from TFS to development, test and production environments, consequently cutting release times from hours to minutes," said Nolio Co-Founder Eran Sher.
Global enterprises enjoy the benefits of Nolio's integration with TFS. Leading global agency Aspen Marketing Services has successfully implemented fast, repeatable and consistent deployment processes by integrating TFS with Nolio.
"TFS does a great job of managing the development lifecycle but once you're ready to deploy your product, it becomes a manual process. This means that it's difficult to repeat and it lacks visibility and traceability," said Ted Loomos, Vice President of Architecture and Development at Aspen. "Nolio fills in the gaps and gets the software out the door in a reliable, repeatable and transparent way. Once you're familiar with Nolio, being able to use it in order to leverage TFS requires very little additional effort."
Nolio will present its findings to DevOps professionals at the ALM summit from the 29th to the 31st of January, marking the start of a long and fruitful partnership with Microsoft.
