This new release now completes the backup and disaster recovery solutions for every popular operating system available today. SEP Software's SEP sesam delivers world-class solutions in every environment. SEP sesam can run natively on any Linux, Unix or Microsoft O/S.
"Our newest product release fills a gap missing for many users in the Apple/Mac world. Until now, no product truly met the demands required to fit into an enterprise class backup solution. Now, C-level managers, System Admins and Mac users can rest assured that their valuable data will always be there when they need it," reported Tim Wagner, President of SEP Software Corp. "There will never again be the need to have multiple solutions in the enterprise. SEP sesam backs up everything from proprietary systems to Open Source solutions," he added.
MAC servers, that previously had to be dealt with in a haphazard fashion, can now be added quickly and easily to any SEP sesam backup topology. Both backups and restores are completed using SEP sesam's patented Multi-Stream Technology, saving users and administrators enormous amounts of time.
System administrators can now automatically backup any Mac server, workstation or laptop. Backup jobs for thousands of servers or computers can all start at the same time without the need for complex scheduling. SEP software's unique Multi-Streaming Technology allows backup tasks to complete in record time.
In addition, SEP sesam's graphical user interface (GUI) can be installed on Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac. The system administrator can access the backup environment from anywhere that he has Internet access.
SEP sesam is installed in over 50 countries worldwide and is used by the world's leading governments, institutions, universities and corporations.
