Germantown, MD, January 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- This week, Planet Technologies executed the Microsoft Office 365 Agreement for Online Services for Government clients (AOS-G) becoming the first Microsoft partner authorized under this new program. In an effort to provide greater access for procurement and support due to the rapid adoption of Microsoft Office 365 among government clients, Microsoft is expanding the sales channel for Office 365. Specifically, this program is for those government customers that want to procure Microsoft Office 365 through a simplified Online Services Agreement.
“Customers recognize us as one of the strongest Microsoft Office 365 services partners in the public sector and with our new ability to be able to provide licenses to the government, we are now a one stop shop for all your Microsoft Office 365 needs. We are thrilled that Microsoft selected Planet as one of the early adopters for this new program,” said Scott Tucker, President and CEO for Planet Technologies.
“It was a natural fit for us to approach Planet about this program. They continue to demonstrate a strong dedication to the Microsoft platform with their strong Office 365 knowledge and high quality delivery to both US state and local government and federal customers,” said Vince Menzione, Microsoft’s General Manager of US Public Sector Partner Strategy.
