Zayo's fibre network supports Next Connex's requirement for secure data transfer for its customers
London, January 9, 2013, Zayo Group - Zayo Group announces it will provide dark fibre connectivity to Next Connex, a wholesale data centre and internet infrastructure provider. The bespoke connection from Zayo allows Next Connex to support data centre operators by providing connectivity to other data centres and Internet hubs throughout London.
Zayo's dedicated, fibre infrastructure will enable Next Connex to deliver high bandwidth connectivity solutions to Next Connex's new customers in their facilities. Zayo's dense fibre deployment will also support Next Connex's backbone network, allowing customers to extend to other Next Connex locations.
Richard Auld, Commercial Director, Next Connex, commented: "Zayo not only offers a resilient and secure network with dark fibre connectivity across London, they were able to meet our challenging lead times and deliver a competitive pricing model. Zayo's diverse solutions support our objective to meet customer demand and provide long term scalability and network security."
"Zayo has focused on connecting high bandwidth locations, like Next Connex's data centres, to our UK fibre network," states Stephanie Copeland, Senior Vice President, Zayo Group. "Next Connex will provide a great opportunity to continue to expand our network and offer Bandwidth Infrastructure solutions to a greater set of customers."
