NEW YORK, Jan. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RF|Binder, a full-service public relations and marketing communications agency based in New York, today announced the addition of two seasoned professionals, Elyse Blazey Gentile and Lori Rodney, expanding senior management in the agency's consumer, corporate and education practices. Elyse Blazey Gentile joins RF|Binder as Senior Managing Director to consumer and corporate accounts, while Lori Rodney joins the agency as a Managing Director of the education group.
In addition to providing strategic communications counsel for their clients and account teams, both managers will work on developing new business opportunities in the corporate, consumer and financial services areas.

Blazey Gentile brings nearly 15 years of experience in corporate and crisis communications, media relations and thought leadership to the agency. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Corporate Communications at E*TRADE, where she led corporate communications, media relations and internal communications efforts, in partnership with many business groups across the organization. Blazey Gentile also brings a depth of experience in the legal profession, having held senior communications roles at SNR Denton; Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP; and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. In addition, she holds agency experience from Ogilvy Public Relations, Makovsky Integrated Communications and Athlon Communications, where she worked with brands including LexisNexis, General Motors, National Financial Partners, Popeye's, Cinnabon and SONY Electronics. Blazey Gentile is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
Prior to joining RF|Binder, Rodney was a Corporate Account Manager at Waggener Edstrom where she represented HTC, the Android and Windows Phone manufacturer. With more than 12 years of communications experience, Rodney has worked at top firms including Edelman PR, MWW Group, Cohn & Wolf and Sonshine Communications. Her vast client account work has included companies such as ADP, Microsoft, Expedia, Pfizer, Checkers/Rally's, Anheuser-Busch, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Merck and Endo Pharmaceuticals. Lori earned her Bachelor of Business Administration/Marketing degree from Florida International University.
