Montreal, Canada, January 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Visual 2000 International Inc. (http://www.visual-2000.com) announces general availability of Visual Viewer™ Version 2, a groundbreaking PLM mobility app for the iPad®. Following just months after the inaugural release, the latest developments decidedly expand the original viewing, presentation, and sharing capabilities of the app to provide more robust PLM interaction for a broader range of authorized mobile executives, operations, and sales teams. In addition to searching and viewing product catalogs, images, colors, and other key product information, these professionals can now use the iPad mobile device to navigate PLM tabs to add, edit and save select product information inside the popular Visual PLM.net® product lifecycle management solution.
“This advanced level of PLM mobility gives teams the power to comfortably and securely view, add, and edit product information while on the go,” noted Charles Benoualid, Visual 2000 Vice President of Research and Development. “Visual Viewer enables fashion companies to more fully leverage the centralized information and collaboration benefits of PLM by providing the always-on access that they need to succeed in this fast-paced business.”
Visual Viewer 2.0 is available in the Business category at the App Store℠. Using the free app, password-enabled users will also be able to email product catalogs and other information to any contacts in their mobile device. An optional plug-in is also available for Visual ERP.net™ that allows secure access to up-to-date inventory information and availability.
