DALLAS, Dec. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- bluesource, a global leader in complex data archiving, eDiscovery and archive migrations, and DiscoveryLogix partner to offer comprehensive eDiscovery readiness program.
According to a recent survey of global General Counsel by the eDiscovery Solutions Group the number one eDiscovery issue plaguing large organizations is managing the cost of eDiscovery. This new offering is designed to mitigate costs throughout the data lifecycle.
" bluesource clients look to us to provide best of breed technology infrastructure and implementation services for their eDiscovery projects." said Matthew Edwards, President bluesource, "By partnering with DiscoveryLogix we now have the opportunity to offer legal guidance as an integrated part of our core service. We're pleased to offer the industry's most comprehensive level of governance services as we continue on our mission to reduce the level of effort required for corporations to reach a high level of information governance at an affordable rate."
Key components of the combined service include:
- Define the requirements of a holistic, defensible litigation electronic discovery (e-Discovery) response and workflow.
- Design, manage and upgrade, as needed, best of breed technology infrastructure required for eDiscovery
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in the organizations current e-Discovery Legal Data Lifecycle using the D-Logix discovery readiness process criticality scorecard to score the present state of readiness.
- Make remedial recommendations in the context of near term tactical, operational and longer term corporate strategic considerations that will help the IT organization achieve a state that will support sustainable e-Discovery capabilities in a fluid and highly complex business and regulatory environment.
- Provide an implementation plan, including training, that is minimally disruptive to ongoing IT operational mandates.
"Enhancing the tasks associated with eDiscovery by front loading data classification (proactively classifying data in the enterprise as opposed to reactively doing so) can reduce collection, processing and review costs significantly", explains Richard E. Davis, JD "This is because there is typically an over collection of data because of insufficiently classified data which results in "data bloat" being propagated into processing and review."
