Mr. Sills' appointment is part of an expansion initiative announced last year which targets key growth opportunities in the equity capital markets arena. Mr. Sills has seven years of Wall Street experience covering the enterprise applications/software-as-a-service (SaaS) and infrastructure groups. Prior to joining Maxim Group, he was a Software Coverage Analyst at Barclays Capital and a Senior Analyst at ThinkEquity. Prior to Wall Street, Mr. Sills spent three years in the licensing and pricing group at Microsoft, and one year in the business development group at Ariba, Inc. Prior to his work in the software industry, Mr. Sills was a CPA at Price Waterhouse, with responsibility for IT hardware, healthcare and private equity clients. Mr. Sills earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Management from Tulane University.
