PITTSBURGH, Dec. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sherpa Software, a leading provider of information management and E-discovery solutions, will sponsor a webinar titled "Information Management is Key in Litigation Preparedness" on Thursday, December 13 at 2 p.m. EST.
"Litigation is inevitable in today's business climate, regardless of the size of your company," said Marta Farensbach, product manager for Sherpa's Discovery Attender solution. "It is also expensive, primarily due to the massive amount of electronic information that must be collected and reviewed in e-Discovery litigation."
The webinar will be led by Farensbach and legal technology industry expert Brett Burney, founder of Burney Consultants. This webinar will cover how small and medium sized companies can effectively manage their electronic data so they are better prepared for litigation. The webinar is designed to detail best practices in handling e-Discovery inquiries and how to work with IT professionals and outside legal counsel.
Since 2003, Farensbach has overseen the development and growth of Sherpa's electronic discovery solutions for the Microsoft environment. She has completed extensive research on e-Discovery while expanding her expertise in compliance and content searching.
Prior to establishing Burney Consultants, Burney spent five years at a Cleveland law firm, where he worked extensively with litigation teams in building electronic document databases, counseling on electronic discovery issues, and managing the technical responsibilities of presenting electronic evidence at trial.
Space is limited for this webinar, but seats are available at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/140633568.
Sherpa Software offers solutions that can effectively handle litigation and e-Discovery needs for the small and medium sized business market by providing professional services and industry leading software that is not only practical and reliable but also as affordable solution.
