EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- 3D Asset Management, Inc., an investment manager that provides a comprehensive range of Global portfolios to retirement plans and individuals, announced additions to their Business Development team with the hire of Timothy Baker, Tom Chimirri and Edwin Nunez as Regional Vice Presidents. Mr. Baker, Mr. Chimirri and Mr. Nunez will report to Vincent Leon, National Sales Manager at 3D Asset Management, and each will be responsible for building new relationships offering both retirement and non-retirement advisor solutions across all firms.
Timothy Baker joins 3D from Symmetry Partners where he managed key relationships with Financial Advisors, Broker Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors across the United States. At 3D Asset Management, he will serve as the Regional Vice President for the Southeast Region. Prior to Symmetry Partners, Baker served as a financial advisor for Prudential Financial. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from Southern Connecticut State University and holds a Series 66 securities license.
Tom Chimirri, a 15-year industry veteran, joins 3D as the Regional Vice President responsible for the North Central Region. Chimirri came to 3D from Legg Mason Global Asset Management where he served in several sales roles of increasing responsibility. Previously, he has served at the Hartford, the Phoenix Companies, Manulife and Cigna. Chimirri earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Hartford and currently holds Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.
Edwin Nunez joins 3D as the Regional Vice President responsible for the Northwest Territory. Prior to joining 3D, he was a Regional Sales Director responsible for sales and distribution of Credit Suisse Structured Notes for Financial Products LLC. Nunez has served as Regional Vice President for Pioneer Investments and Fred Alger Management. He earned a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Syracuse University and holds Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses.
