MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 12/03/12 -- Giving kids an opportunity to visit with Santa while enjoying breakfast in their pajamas is a highlight of an upcoming event set for Saturday, December 15, 2012 inside a Golden Valley hotel's stylish restaurant and pub.
Hosting the Fifth Annual Pajama Breakfast with Santa, Kip's Irish Pub and the Minneapolis Marriott West Hotel are once again inviting children and their families to this fun holiday tradition from 10:30 a.m. to noon inside the prominent St. Louis Park hotel near Minneapolis. In addition to providing a fun Christmas event for kids, the program also supports the Ronald McDonald House with organizers seeking to collect toys for families in need. Each child that brings a new, unwrapped toy will be treated to a free buffet breakfast, while each adult or parent that provides a toy will receive a complimentary glass of house wine or a pint of beer.
Cost of the breakfast buffet and festivities is $12 for adults and free for children ages 4-12 who bring a toy. Kids 4 and under also eat free. Cost of the buffet for kids who do not bring toy is $5.
Along with providing toys for the Ronald McDonald House program, kids can visit with Santa and have their pictures taken with the jolly old elf while being entertained by Victorian Christmas Carolers. Parents are welcome to bring their cameras to capture magical moments of the morning and kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas and slippers as well as bring along their favorite stuffed animal friend to join in the festivities. They can also pick up a bag of reindeer food for Santa's team. Adding a colorful twist to hotel deals in Minneapolis, a coloring contest is also planned with participants offered the chance to win a free one-night stay at the Minneapolis Marriott West.
