Schreff as Chief Operating Officer with specific responsibility for the US and Latin American markets ("the Americas").

David has extensive experience in the Americas' leisure and media industries and this senior appointment represents an important next step for the Company, in further consolidating and reinforcing its market leading position.

David, who will report directly to Sportech Chief Executive Ian Penrose, will oversee the development of all US activities of the Company, which currently employs over 700 staff in the United States, through its offices and operation centres in Connecticut, Atlanta, New Jersey and California. David is a resident of Connecticut, and will be based in our North American headquarters in Connecticut.

David, aged 57, has worked in the sports, entertainment and media sector for more than 30 years, having held a number of board director, executive and senior management roles in leading companies and organisations, including the National Basketball Association (NBA), Walt Disney (Disney Channel), Marvel Entertainment and Viacom (Showtime Networks). From 2008 to 2011, he chaired the Board of USA Volleyball (a US Olympic Committee national governing body). He has been involved in a number of start-ups, and has advised numerous clients through his consultancy Bedare LLC, serving the gaming software, venue management, television content, corporate sponsorship, team sports (football/soccer, basketball and baseball), music, publishing and licensed consumer products sectors.
