Expansion part of wide-reaching company updates, including improved Cloud Server Hosting configuration and higher capacity Microsoft Hosted Exchange plans
28th November 2012 - CWCS, the UK's leading managed hosting and support firm, has expanded its US operations with the launch of a new data centre facility. The Supreme Servers arm of the company has established the facility in Dallas, Texas to give customers, both in the USA and those elsewhere who want US hosting, another location option for their Virtual Private Servers (VPS).
The unique, high-tech centre features SSD storage, which is up to 136x faster than standard storage, and is LEED Gold certified and SOC2 Type 1 audited. This backs up established data centre facilities in Miami, Florida and Toronto, Canada. Customers can order a VPS online at www.supremeservers.com.
Karl Mendez, CEO at CWCS, said the new data centre facilities come with everything that customers have come to expect from the company - excellent customer service and 24/7 technical support, backed up by the 100% Uptime Guarantee and the very best hardware.
"Multiple VSPs can be managed by our centralised VPS Control Panel, meaning customers can manage their virtual server from anywhere in the world and stay on top of backups and stats at any time," he commented. "Our virtual servers are lightning fast and high-spec and we use the latest technology to provide high availability and reliability for our clients' websites and applications."
The new data centre facility has launched alongside a raft of updates to the CWCS offering. A new configuration tool for CWCS Cloud Server Hosting has also been revealed, enhancing the firm's affordable, customisable cloud computing service.
"We decided to make it easy for clients to configure their cloud servers and buy cloud server hosting online," explained Karl. "The easy to use cloud server configuration tool makes personalising their cloud computing resources really quick. Through our website, clients can change everything from the number of vCPUs, the amount of RAM, SAN storage, and bandwidth to the level of server management, server operating system and the number of IP addresses required."
The cloud configuration tool is backed up with a tips guide to support users through the process and explain the technical aspects and, if further help is required, the CWCS experts are just a call, live chat or email away.
Finally, the third enhancement of the CWCS service is an increase in mailbox size for Microsoft Hosted Exchange Plans. The limit will be increased from 1GB to 25GB, and CWCS will be on hand to help clients migrate their existing data.
"Microsoft Hosted Exchange Plans gives businesses of all sizes access to the popular email and collaboration tool, and it is usually a lot easier and more cost-effective for businesses to have this hosted by CWCS than install it on their own premises," Karl explained. "Existing hosted exchange service clients will be upgraded to the new capacity free of charge."
CWCS has a range of Microsoft Hosted Exchange Plans, which give clients financial security as the service means costs are manageable and predictable, with the ability to add and remove users as and when required.
