TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/20/12 -- Compugen announced today that it has been selected as the winner in the Volume Licensing Partner of the Year and the Community Leadership Partner of the Year categories at the 2012 Microsoft Partner Network IMPACT Awards. The tenth annual IMPACT Awards recognize excellence within the Microsoft technology partner community in Canada. The winners were announced at an awards ceremony held at the Four Seasons Hotel, located in Yorkville, Toronto on November 13th, 2012.
"As recognized at the annual IMPACT Awards, there is tremendous momentum in our Partner Community because stronger customer relationships are being built," said Mark Dodds, Vice-President of Small Business, Midmarket Solutions & Partners, Microsoft Canada Inc. "Technology Partners like Compugen are always finding new and exciting ways to develop and deliver innovative technology solutions, making them true leaders in their respective fields."
"We are pleased to receive these two awards from The Microsoft Partner Network. The Community Leadership Partner Award recognizes our support for Canadian literacy through our innovative work with Frontier College to bring together remote learners and tutors using Microsoft technology. Volume Licensing Partner of the Year recognizes our innovative software lifecycle management services that help customers understand the potential of their software investments and help control costs, manage compliance risk and aid in planning. As part of the Microsoft Partner Network ecosystem, we are able to leverage a host of technical skills internally and through partner relationships to make a positive difference for our customers and the broader community," said Michael Charter, VP, Software, Compugen.
Frontier College President Sherry Campbell said of the Community Leadership Partner Award, "I'm proud that Microsoft has again recognized Compugen's collaboration with Frontier College. Compugen has been a partner with Frontier College for many years, and is clearly deserving of the Award. They worked side-by-side with us to ensure that the Virtual Learning Portal came to fruition, and this program has the potential to change the way that we help Canadians improve their literacy. We simply could not have done it without Compugen."
