NEW YORK, Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GMI Ratings, the leading provider of research on environmental, social, governance (ESG) and accounting-related risks affecting the performance of public companies, has selected InfoTech Solutions for Business, Inc. to manage IT infrastructure and software product development. InfoTech is a leading software developer and systems integrator exclusively utilizing a U.S.-based labor force without any offshoring of project work outside the United States.
The engagement encompasses infrastructure relocation and consolidation, merging three GMI infrastructure locations (San Diego, CA, Portland, ME and New York, NY) into InfoTech's data center in downtown Manhattan. InfoTech is also responsible for software development for GMI's web-based research platforms and rating systems. Infrastructure relocation and consolidation has already been completed.
