SARASOTA, Fla., Nov. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Roper Industries, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) announced today the pricing of its public offering of $400 million of 1.850% Notes due 2017 (the "2017 notes") and $500 million of 3.125% Notes due 2022 (the "2022 notes" and, together with the 2017 notes, the "notes"). The offering is expected to close, subject to customary closing conditions, on November 21, 2012.
The 2017 notes will bear interest at the rate of 1.850% per year and the 2022 notes will bear interest at the rate of 3.125% per year. Interest on the notes will be payable semi-annually on May 15 and November 15 of each year, beginning May 15, 2013. The 2017 notes will mature on November 15, 2017 and the 2022 notes will mature on November 15, 2022.
Net proceeds from the sale of the notes will be used to repay borrowings under Roper's senior unsecured revolving credit facility.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are serving as joint book-running managers for the offering.
