AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second consecutive year, the Great Place to Work® Institute has ranked National Instruments (Nasdaq: NATI) among the top 25 multinational companies to work for in the world. This year's "World's Best Multinational Workplaces" list ranks NI at number 16. Mark Finger, NI's vice president of human resources, joined other prominent executives from leading global organizations at San Francisco's Asian Art Museum for a gala event honoring the companies that received this recognition. Companies including SAS Institute, Google, NetApp and Microsoft also received this honor.

"NI's vision-driven culture centers around a 100-year plan that sets guiding principles for our employees," said Dr. James Truchard, NI's CEO, president and co-founder. The 25 companies were selected from more than 350 multinational companies from 45 countries that participated in Great Place to Work® best workplaces list selection processes in late 2011 through mid-2012.
