BETHESDA, Md., Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Management, Inc. (DMI), a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, today announced that the company has been elected to join the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Board of Directors as a Contributor Advisor for a one-year term. DMI will provide perspectives as an expert leader in the development of hardware-based security solutions and will advise the group on strategies to enhance trusted computing technologies and advocate for their broad adoption in products and solutions throughout the technology world.
Government and industry are increasingly in agreement that hardware-based cyber-defense techniques, central to Trusted Computing, are essential to safeguarding enterprise systems and intellectual property. The TCG is an international open industry standards organization that creates specifications based on a hardware root of trust for a variety of devices, applications and services. To date, more than a billion endpoints are protected with Trusted Computing technologies. As a TCG Board member, DMI joins industry leaders in advancing the state-of-the-art in cyber-defense, including: Advanced Micro Devices, Cisco, Dell, Fujitsu Ltd., Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Infineon Technologies AG, Intel Corporation, Juniper Networks, Lenovo Holdings Ltd., Microsoft and Wave Systems.
With a broad enterprise customer base in both government and industry and mobile service provider and technology partnerships across the industry, DMI brings a unique perspective to the TCG Board. DMI staff have more than thirty years of experience with the TCG and Trusted Computing. DMI is in a strong position to solicit requirements and feedback from customers that will be meaningful to the TCG. DMI is also able to use its position to drive TC adoption in the single most important market for Trusted Computing: the Federal Government.
