Enginasion announced today that it is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Embedded Software Systems Engineer. This position requires an individual with a positive attitude, excellent engineering skills, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to work well alone and in a team environment.
Enginasion providers hardware and software development resources needed by companies in ‘hot’ fields such as microfluidic control, life sciences instruments, mechatronics, wireless data gathering, RFID and many other innovation-requisite sectors.
“This position requires an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer with proven ability in the design and support of both hardware and software systems,” said Dave Bonneau, President of Enginasion. “The chosen candidate will work closely with our clients to solve unique systems problems to develop core technology. The chosen candidate should have experience that includes embedded systems hardware and firmware design and troubleshooting, programming experience including C, 8/16 bit Assembly, Embedded IDEs, PLC logic. Android and/or IOS would be great as well.”
Mr. Bonneau added that the ideal candidate will have a well-rounded level of engineering experience including past involvement with military, industrial and medical systems. Attention to detail, strong engineering and analytic skills, assume project responsibility, and the ability to work from home.
Basic Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related degree • 5 years with experience; • Experience with embedded systems hardware design • Experience with embedded systems firmware design • Programming experience in 8/16 bit Assembly, Embedded IDEs, PLC logic and C. • Experience with remote sensing and TCP/IP networking. U.S. citizenship required for military work. Reside in the Greater Boston area.
Preferred Qualifications: Android Eclipse and/or IOSC • LabVIEW, Visual Studio • MSP-430, Microchip, Atmel, Python.
