AJAX Support Added To Opera Browser
Opera CEO Jon S. von Tetzchner has confirmed that Opera Software has added support for AJAX to both the Opera browser and SDK (software development kit).

Opera has had great support for AJAX for a long time. AJAX has absolutely nothing to do with the AudioScrobber iTunes plugin.

Note that what the real news is (and which the journalist missed out on) that Opera now supports AJAX on mobile phones, TV-sets etc. This is a significant leap forward for these embedded environments which today is full of poor and proprietary solutions.
