ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Aldebaron, developers of high-value, government-contract-compliant cost accounting software, today announced the general availability of SYMPAQ eTs, an electronic timekeeping system that is fully integrated with SYMPAQ SQL, the company's cost accounting software.
Employees, consultants and contractors can easily track and report the time spent on projects using SYMPAQ eTs. They enter their hours daily or weekly through the web-based interface, which is easily accessible through an Internet connection. This eliminates the time-consuming and error-prone manual method of recording of time data on paper time-cards, and increases the accuracy of the data because rekeying is no longer necessary.
The integration between SYMPAQ eTs and SYMPAQ SQL ensures that the timekeeping system always has the latest information about projects, tasks, employees, vendors, and labor categories. Additions and changes made in the accounting system are automatically queued up and transferred seamlessly to SYMPAQ eTs.
"We worked closely with our partners to create a solution that would thoroughly address our clients' needs. From the feedback to date, we have achieved that goal," observed Chris Brown, vice president of sales and marketing for Aldebaron. "We are very pleased to be able to offer a solution that allows our clients to effectively manage all their time and attendance needs with confidence that they will be able to pass a DCAA 'floor check' audit."
SYMPAQ eTs is built on the .NET platform from Microsoft Corporation and powered by the SQL Server database engine for maximum flexibility and scalability. A "cloud computing" hosted option is available in a state-of-the-art managed server environment that provides off-premise database access, security, bandwidth, uptime and backups for a low monthly fee.
Pricing and Availability
SYMPAQ eTs is shipping now. Pricing starts at $1000 for 10 users; current SYMPAQ users receive discounts based on the number of licensed users.
