MONROVIA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/09/09 -- Tanner EDA, a leading provider of analog, mixed-signal (A/MS) and MEMS electronic design automation (EDA) tools, announced today that Hamed Emami has joined the company as VP Sales. Previously, Hamed was VP Sales at Magma Design Automation (San Jose, CA) and was responsible for sales and operations in Japan.
"Tanner EDA is growing and we're doubling our focus on customers' needs in analog and mixed signal design application areas like power management and image sensor design," said Greg Lebsack, President, Tanner EDA. "Adding seasoned EDA industry executives like Hamed Emami, with his IC design flow and analog software sales experience, improves our ability to introduce our full suite of tools to these customers."
Prior to joining Tanner EDA and Magma, Hamed was VP Sales at AXIOM Design Automation, Milpitas, CA, and Tera Systems, Campbell, CA. He has an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BSEE from UC San Diego.
