ExactTarget Announces New Partnerships with Oracle, ATG, SAP

On-demand email and one-to-one marketing solutions provider ExactTarget announced today that it has entered into new partnerships with Oracle, SAP and ATG to develop seamless integrations with its on-demand one-to-one messaging platform.

Developed on ExactTarget’s Extensions Network, the integrations will add to ExactTarget’s existing catalog of more than 50 proven pre-built integrations with global technology platforms including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce.com, Omniture, Coremetrics and Webtrends.

“Marketers today require the ability to leverage data from all of their marketing technology systems together in a seamless manner to increase the effectiveness of their one-to-one marketing campaigns,” said Scott Roth, ExactTarget’s director of integrated partners. “By building the ExactTarget Extensions Network, we’ve created an online catalog of certified integrations that gives marketers a single source for all of their one-to-one marketing technology needs.”

ExactTarget will integrate its on-demand messaging platform with the ATG Commerce Suite to provide marketers a solution to automate and personalize the full lifecycle of customer communications including: email product recommendations, shopping cart abandonment follow-ups, order confirmations, post-purchase review requests and other one-to-one communications.

“ExactTarget’s customers can leverage ATG’s personalization platform, optimization services suite and the recommendation engine to truly create closed-loop targeting and communications,” said Bill Zujewski, ATG’s vice president of product marketing.

ExactTarget will integrate its on-demand messaging platform with Oracle CRM On Demand and SAP CRM to provide marketers a solution to automate and personalize the full lifecycle of customer communications.

Designed to provide software developers a venue to build, test and prove integrations with the ExactTarget platform, ExactTarget’s Extensions Network has grown to one of the industry’s largest collection of certified integrations between an email service provider and supporting technologies including CRM, Web analytics, Web content management, on-site search, surveys and product recommendations.

“ExactTarget is proud to provide the most open, flexible and scalable partner integration framework in the email and one-to-one marketing industry,” Roth said. “Extensions Network Partners are a critical component to the successful one-to-one marketing initiatives of our clients and we are pleased to have such a world-class roster of partners.”

The firm announced the partnerships on the main stage of ExactTarget’s annual user conference Connections ’09, the world’s largest gathering of one-to-one marketers. More than 1,300 are attending the three-day conference in Indianapolis that features addresses by three-time New York Times bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell, academy-award winning actress Marlee Matlin and nearly 30 interactive breakout sessions ranging from emarketing best practices to building multichannel marketing campaigns.
