Enterprise Cloud Computing is a key strategy for CIOs, stated Jill Tummler Singer, Deputy CIO at the CIA, in her keynote session at the 1st Annual GovIT Expo in Washington, D.C. As the pressure mounts to meet more stringent budgets, CIOs need to find the proper balance between transforming IT and reducing costs.

Enterprise cloud computing can be defined in many different ways.
"Enterprise Cloud Computing makes IT faster, better, cheaper, and safer," stated Tummler Singer, "and it gives your business the agility and sustainability to survive." Can the Enterprise Cloud make infrastructure operations faster, easier, cheaper, and safer while also unleashing the transformative creativity of the workforce?
There are many pressures facing CIOs today, and technology can be used to drive innovation. As the pressure mounts to meet more stringent budgets, CIOs need to find the proper balance between transforming IT and reducing costs. Will the Enterprise Cloud support both? CIOs must be thrifty; they must introduce IT that will help companies achieve their goals.

Enterprise cloud computing is an energy booster that enables you to get to your goals faster. It delivers many benefits for IT:
- Deliver services faster
- Allows IT to be faster
- Availability numbers can soar
- Maximize capacity of any power unit
- Maximize load on physical rack
- Improves OpEx
- Delivers safer environment

Jill Tummler Singer then delivered her Top 10 List on why you should use Enterprise Cloud Computing. She also noted that it allows you to cut the ball and chain of the past and not get stuck with antiquated solutions.
Enterprise Cloud Computing takes the wait out of application delivery and frees your business to change strategically. But will the Cloud be both a strong efficiency play as well as the Infrastructure's Ultimate Revenge by positioning IT to be the accelerator of corporate strategy instead of its bottleneck?
The 4th International Cloud Computing Expo is co-located at the Santa Clara Convention Center with the 7th International Virtualization Conference & Expo.
